Who is it for
I offer counselling to people from sixteen years onwards.
Some people find counselling helpful during crisis, and major life events for example, bereavement, including sudden or tragic loss.
Others use it as a way of supporting themselves through difficult episodes in their life, for example a divorce, or relationships, and family issues.
Counselling can be helpful for people trying to combat addiction.
Others want to use counselling to maintain their own well being and to explore their potential, in a psychologically supportive environment where they can feel safe.
There doesn’t have to be a particular reason to experience counselling, everyone has a different way of being, and a special experience or story they want to bring and make sense of.
Some people like to do this with ‘another’ who they trust, and in a supportive space.
It might be something they want to talk about that is happening now, it might be something that happened a long time ago which they are still worried about or which causes them distress or anxiety and depression.
Some people experience anxiety or depression, and struggle with mental illness, and like to have a safe space where they can talk about how this affects them, or others.
